
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 27, 2025: Sri Mahashakthi temple in Chaitanyapuri colony in Karimnagar town has turned into a famous pilgrimage centre in the north Telangana region.
Already several throng the temple shrine seeking the blessings of goddesses, and it would be peaking during the Dasara Navarathri celebrations. The temple attained distinction for serving ‘biksha’ (lunch) and alpha (dinner) to the devotees wearing Bhavani mala deeksha. Every day, more than 1500 Bhavani deeksha devotees and others visit the temple for biksha (lunch) and alpa (tiffin).
In order to give a fillip to the celebrations, a Botany lecturer from TGSWRDC for women, Vemulawada, Reddymalla Deepthi, along with her family members, distributed the Lalitha Sahasranamali book, ‘Vayinam’, to the women devotees and fruits to all other devotees on Saturday. They distributed the Vayinam and books to more than 300 devotees at the temple shrine. Earlier, they met Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
