JAGTIAL, SEPTEMBER 27, 2025: Mr Parlapalli Raju, Assistant Professor of Zoology at SKNR Government Arts and Science College, Jagtial, has been awarded a PhD degree under the supervision of Prof. Y. Venkayya in the Department of Zoology, from Kakatiya University.
His research topic is: “Abundance and Diversity of Soil Arthropods in Turmeric Fields in Semi-Arid Tropical Regions of Karimnagar District.” In addition to his teaching services, P. Raju also serves as an NCC Lieutenant Officer, actively contributing to student development and community service.
Recently, recognising his outstanding contributions in the field of teaching, the Government of Telangana honoured him with the prestigious Best Teacher Award – 2025, which was presented by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri A. Revanth Reddy at Shilpakala Vedika, Gachibowli.
