

KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 25, 2025: Students and NSS volunteers of the University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Satavahana University, LMD Campus, Karimnagar town, participated in the ‘Ek Din – Ek Ghanta- Ek Saath’ programme organised by the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation at LMD reservoir on Thursday under the leadership of Programme Officer K Sunitha.
In this programme, the students, along with Minister for Transport and BC Welfare Ponnam Prabhakar, Collector Pamela Satpathy, Additional Collector Ashwini Tanaji Wakade, MCK Commissioner Praful Desai, SUDA Chairman Komatireddy Narender Reddy, Congress party Karimnagar parliament in-charge Velichala Rajender Rao and district officials, performed Shramdaan for Swachhata. On this occasion, the surroundings of the Dam were cleaned for about three hours.
Speaking on this occasion, the Minister said that everyone should spend two hours a week on cleanliness. He said that fines should be imposed on those who pollute the surroundings. He said that the government was encouraging electric vehicles to reduce pollution and undertaking massive plantation efforts. On this occasion, College Principal K Srisailam and NSS Coordinator E Manohar appreciated the students.
