KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 20, 2025: The campus of Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE), Karimnagar, bloomed with colours and joy as the school celebrated the vibrant festival of Bathukamma (festival of flowers) with great enthusiasm on Saturday. The event was graced by the presence of Director Academics, Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari, who appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students in keeping cultural traditions alive.
The celebrations began with devotional songs dedicated to Goddess Gauri. A beautifully decorated Bathukamma was arranged by the teachers, placed at the center of an intricate rangoli design on the ground. Around it, students, teachers, and parents joined hands in the traditional Bathukamma play, filling the campus with rhythmic claps, songs, and festive cheer.
Adding to the joy, the evening sparkled with lively Dandiya dance, where parents, staff, and students participated with enthusiasm and grace.
On this occasion, Chairman Dr Sudhakar Rao Polsani conveyed a special message, encouraging students to respect traditions, honour women, and celebrate festivals in harmony with nature.
