KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 20, 2025: Students of the Blue Bells High School, Hanumanagar, Karimnagar, celebrated the Bathukamma festivities with much pomp and gaiety at its premises on Saturday.
The girl students and women teachers arrived in their best attire. After offering prayers to the Goddess Gauri, the students and teachers prepared the Bathukammas by stacking different varieties of flowers in a conical shape. On the occasion, students were told about the importance of celebrating Bathukamma. They were also told about the significance of various traditional flowers such as Thangedu, Gunugu, Marigold, Chrysanthemum, Lotus, etc and their medicinal values.
The atmosphere was electric with girl students and teachers clad in traditional attire and jewellery, singing and dancing around the beautiful floral formations of Goddess Gouri in her praise with religious fervour and unmatched enthusiasm. School Principal Janga Sunitha Manohar Reddy launched the celebrations by offering prayers to Goddess Gauri.
