WARANGAL, SEPTEMBER 19, 2025: Kakatiya Government College (Autonomous), Hanumakonda, organised a Financial Wellness Awareness Programme on Friday at the Seminar Hall, in collaboration with the Department of Commerce and Business Management and NSE Academy Ltd.
The programme was presided over by Principal Prof. G. Srinivas, who in his address highlighted the importance of financial literacy and awareness for students in the present competitive world. “Financial literacy empowers the youth to take informed decisions, develop investment habits, and plan for a secure future,” said Prof. G. Srinivas, Principal.
Mr Srikrishna, Trainer from NSE Academy Ltd., was the resource person and delivered a comprehensive session on “An Introduction to the World of Investing”. “Students must equip themselves with basic financial knowledge and skills to manage personal finance effectively, which will also enhance career opportunities,” noted Mr. Srikrishna, NSE Trainer.
On this occasion, Rajashekar, Head of the Department of Commerce & Business Management, shared his views. “Financial planning is very important in everyone’s life to secure the future and achieve life goals. Students should cultivate the habit of saving and investing wisely from an early stage,” emphasised Rajashekar, HOD.
Faculty members Srinath, Shivanaga, J. Chinna, Yakub, B. Srinivas, A. Anil Kumar, G. Srinivas, G.K. Kumar Naveen, Balu, Sunitha, Vandana, and Madhav actively participated in the programme. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who gained valuable insights into the importance of financial planning and investment awareness.
