
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 19, 2025: Telugu film star Srikanth, who is busy shooting for his upcoming film in Karimnagar town, joined the traditional Bathukamma, the festival of flowers, at the Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli, in Karimnagar town on Friday.
He launched the celebrations by lighting the lamp in front of the statue of Goddess Durga. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Srikanth explained the importance of Bathukamma festivities in the Telangana state, wherein womenfolk celebrate the festival with religious fervour and gaiety. Appreciating the Alphores educational institutions for their yeoman service in the field of education and transforming the future generation, he also appealed to the students to study hard and achieve their goals in life and fulfil the dreams of their parents.
Alphores Educational Institutions chairman V Narender Reddy and his wife Dr V Vanaja Reddy felicitated the film actor, director Nageshwar Reddy, producers M Chandu and N Venkat. The students had a busy time taking selfie pictures with the film actor.
