He said so far the machine was installed at Chardam, Uttarakhand, to collect the bottle waste instead of throwing them and polluting the sacred waters in the Ganges.
The public can throw the tetra packs, snack packets into this machine by logging via UPI and scanning the QR code, dropping the waste packet inside the ring. For which the person will be awarded with Rs. 5 as part of creating social awareness and supporting the cause of environmental protection”, he added.
The Additional EO appreciated the working and utility of the unique machine.
