JAGTIAL, SEPTEMBER 18, 2025: Students of Government Degree College for Women, Jagtial, celebrated the Bathukamma celebrations with lots of enthusiasm in advance under the aegis of the NSS and Women Empowerment Cell on Thursday.
On this occasion, students beautifully decorated, aka arranged different varieties of flowers in a conical shape as Bathukammas and participated joyfully in traditional attire, singing and dancing around Bathukammas.
Ex Municipal chairperson Aduvala Jyothi participated as the guest of honour. Principal K Ramakrishna addressed this as a festival of our culture and tradition. Students in ethnic wear with beautiful Bathukammas participated enthusiastically. Women empowerment cell coordinator N Vasavi, NSS programme officers N Sangeeta Rani, D Sujatha and G Sreelatha, Neeraja, Jamuna, Sunitha, Jyotsna, Sangeeta, Sushmita, Chandraiah, Mallikarjun, Satyam and other staff were present.
Teaching staff, non-teaching staff, and students participated in this programme with great enthusiasm.
