
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 10, 2025: In the Telangana State Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (TGCPGET) results, A. Shivaprasad, a student from the Zoology Department of SRR Government Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar, secured the *State First Rank* in Zoology. Along with him, several other students from the college have also achieved notable ranks: N. Aditya secured the 40th rank, Ch. Shivaji secured the 70th rank, J. Samhita secured the 100th rank, and K. Sai Teja secured the 107th rank, among many others who attained commendable positions.
On this occasion, a felicitation programme was organised by the Zoology Department. Principal Prof. Kalvakunta Ramakrishna and Head of the Zoology Department K. Kiranmayi honoured the students and blessed them to achieve greater heights in their future endeavours.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Ramakrishna stated that securing the first state-level rank in the Zoology stream is a matter of pride for both the college and Karimnagar district. He also mentioned that SRR College students have been consistently achieving good ranks in various competitive exams, showcasing their talent. He congratulated all the rank holders and appreciated the faculty of the Zoology Department for their efforts.
Kiranmayi, the Head of the Zoology Department, shared that throughout the academic year, the faculty conducted motivational and focused classes, providing continuous guidance for competitive exams, which played a crucial role in helping students secure top ranks.
The event was also attended by Zoology faculty members D. Ravindar Rao, Kadaru Surender Reddy, Thota Mahesh, T. Preethi, E. Samatha, and M.Sai Charan.
