
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, SEPTEMBER 04, 2025: The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College for Women, Shathrajupalli, Vemulawada, under the aegis of the NSS and Cultural Committee, grandly celebrated the Teachers’ Day in advance on Thursday.
On this occasion, Principal K Lavanya said, “Teachers are the architects of society. The guidance of a good teacher influences the future of every student. That is why the teaching profession holds the highest dignity.”
Vice Principal B. Sumalatha, Academic Coordinator S. Sandhya Rani, Superintendent N. Srinivas, Staff Secretary G. Rajini, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students enthusiastically participated in the programme.
As part of the Teachers’ Day celebrations, the students acted as “teachers for a day”, which stood out as a special attraction. They conducted classes, taught lessons, and joyfully experienced the role of teachers.
The students also organised cultural programmes, expressing their respect and gratitude towards their teachers. Songs, dances, and speeches added grandeur to the event. The programme inspired the students to cultivate respect and responsibility towards their teachers.
