KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 30, 2025: Green was the colour of the day at St. Mary’s Global School, Kothi Rampur, Karimnagar, as students came dressed in lively shades that echoed the freshness of nature. The occasion was Green Day — an initiative to remind young minds of the importance of caring for our planet.
The celebrations unfolded with children singing the Earth Song, their voices carrying the message of love and responsibility for the environment. A collective pledge to “save the planet” gave the day its solemn note, while the planting of saplings added a hopeful touch — a promise of greener tomorrows taking root in the school grounds.
Adding creativity to concern, students also fashioned interesting items out of discarded plastic, proving that what is often seen as waste can, with imagination, find new life. The objective of this celebration was to spread awareness about the importance of the environment and to instil love for Nature in young minds. Tint tots came dressed in various shades of green. They participated in range of fun-filled activities.
