
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 26, 2025: The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) and the Department of Commerce & Business Administration at SRR Government Arts & Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar, in collaboration with Magic Bus India Foundation, Hyderabad, successfully organised a 12-day intensive training program focused on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Employability Skills.
A grand valedictory and certificate distribution ceremony was held on Tuesday, August 26, marking the culmination of this impactful initiative that aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world professional expectations.
Held from August 11 to 26 on the college campus, the programme provided students with 4 hours of practical and theoretical sessions daily. The curriculum was designed to empower students with a comprehensive understanding of AI technologies including Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Prompt Engineering, along with essential life and career skills.
Key training modules included: Effective Communication Skills; Resume Writing & Interview Preparation; Time Management & Problem Solving; Leadership & Teamwork; Workplace Readiness & Professional Etiquette; Confidence Building & Positive Attitude and I Concepts & Applications.
The sessions were facilitated by expert trainers from Magic Bus India Foundation — Ms. Poornashree (Training Officer) and Mr. Prateek (Youth Technical Trainer) — using an engaging, activity-based, and participatory approach. Students particularly appreciated the hands-on learning, role plays, and mock interviews that significantly boosted their confidence and job readiness.
The programme was spearheaded by Dr. Naresh Boorla (Convenor & EDC Coordinator) and T. Rajayya (Coordinator) under the guidance of Principal Prof. K. Ramakrishna, who served as the Patron.
Speaking at the valedictory, Principal Prof. K. Ramakrishna stated, “This training programme is a significant step toward preparing our students for the digital era. Equipping them with AI and soft skills is not just about employability—it’s about building future-ready citizens.”
Naresh Boorla, EDC Coordinator, remarked, “Through this initiative, we aimed to offer holistic development—merging technical knowledge with personality growth. The transformation in students’ confidence is already visible.”
Rajayya, Vice Principal and Programme Coordinator, added, “The students showed great enthusiasm throughout the program. We look forward to organising more such training sessions that align with industry trends.” Harjot Kaur, IQAC Coordinator, emphasized, “Such programs ensure continuous quality enhancement in our academic ecosystem. They bridge the learning gap and add immense value to our curriculum.”
