
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 23, 2025: Registrar of Satavahana University, Jasti Ravikumar, officially issued orders for the recognition of the Department of Telugu, Commerce, and Botany of SRR Government Arts and Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar, as a Research Centre.
On this occasion, Principal Kalvakunta Ramakrishna mentioned that an Inspection Committee from Satavahana University recently visited the Laboratories, Computer Labs, Library, Research Publications and Books of the eligible Teachers of the respective departments. The team was satisfied with the facilities and academic output, leading to the recognition of these departments as research centres.
Kalvakunta Ramakrishna further informed that all eligible faculty members of the Department of Telugu, Commerce and Botany from the Government Affiliated Colleges of Satavahana University, Karimnagar Jurisdiction are informed to submit their applications for recognition as Research Supervisors by September 5, directly to the Registrar’s office of Satavahana University, according to the proceedings of the Registrar Professor Jasti Ravikumar.
TGCGTA State General Secretary Kadaru Surender Reddy and Research Committee Convener M. Malla Reddy extended special thanks to the University Vice-Chancellor Umesh Kumar, Registrar Jasti Ravikumar, and the inspection committee members for recognising the three Departments as Research Centres.

Malla Reddy, Head of the Telugu Department Burla Chandrasekhar, Head of the Botany Department Tirukovela Srinivas, and faculty members M. Srinivasa Reddy, Harjoth Kaur, Vangala Srinivas, T Srinivas, B. Satish Kumar, Swaroopa Rani, K. Rajesh, Rajesham, Burla Naresh, Padala Tirupati, A. Soma Narasaiah, K. Arjun, among others.
