
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 23, 2025: In order to educate students and parents on healthy eating habits, students of Alphores e-techno school, Kothapalli, Karimnagar, organised a Nutrition Expo on their school campus on Saturday.
The session, designed for students, focused on creative and healthy snacking options using the newly naturally available fruits, vegetables and sprouts, etc. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation by students. Guided by culinary experts, the young participants learned how to prepare and consume nutritional food and discourage junk food. They captivated the audience with their engaging interaction and exhilarating games.
Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy, who formally inaugurated the Nutrition Expo, visited each and every exhibit displayed by the students along with the parents. On this occasion, he lauded the students for their active involvement and urged them to always look for healthy lifestyle options.
The students captivated the visitors, including their parents, by displaying various health foods such as carbohydrate cycle, Powerful proteins, Victorious vitamins, food pyramid, organic farm, obesity centre etc.
In a recent move focused on creating a nutritious food environment around schools and educating students on healthy eating habits, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed all affiliated schools to establish ‘sugar boards’ on their campuses. These boards will monitor students’ sugar intake and raise awareness about the health risks associated with excessive sugar consumption.
