KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 22, 2025: For a change, Achievers Active High School, Kothi Rampur, Karimnagar town, has involved mothers in the Janmastami celebrations for the preparation ‘Dahi Handi’ (utti or Venna pots) and its decoration on Friday.
The programme was inaugurated by the school director, Ch Venkateswarlu, by lighting the lamp and speaking on the occasion, he explained the significance of Krishnashtami and said that life is linked to the Bhagavad Gita as taught by Lord Krishna. Principal Ch Pallavi and other school faculty members were also present.
Mothers dressed as Yashoda, the mother of Lord Sri Krishna, had actively participated in the designing of the Dahil Handi pots. The womenfolk had brought their creativity to the fore as part of the competitions.
