RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, AUGUST 19, 2025: Students of the Department of B.Sc (Hons) Design and Technology students of Telangana Social Welfare Residential Degree College (Women), Sircilla, located at Vemulawada, Rajanna Sircilla district, wonderfully celebrated World Photography Day on Tuesday.
As part of the celebrations, students enthusiastically participated by capturing creative photographs on different themes. Among all the entries, the best three photographs were selected. The winners were: Rakshana, Amuktha Malyada and Sruthi.
The winners were honoured with medals by Principal Dr. K. Lavanya, who appreciated their creativity and talent. In her address, Dr. Lavanya highlighted the importance of photography as a powerful tool of communication, art, and social awareness. She encouraged students to continue nurturing their passion and use photography to portray positive messages in society.
The programme was also attended by Academic Coordinator S. Sandhya Rani, Head, Department of BDT, Fouziya Bhanu, faculty members Poojitha and Pallavi, along with other staff and students.
