

Massive cultural rally with children donning the role of Sri Krishna and Gopikas
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 14, 2025: On the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmastami festival, which is celebrated on August 16, 2025, Sri Sundara Satsang Trust, Sai Nagar, Karimnagar town, has decided to conduct day-long celebrations to mark the festivities in Karimnagar with much pomp and gaiety on Saturday.
In a statement here on Thursday, Trust president Bodla Krishna said that the celebrations would begin from 8 am and concludes at midnight. He said that the celebrations would begin with Goumatha puja at Sri Krishna temple at 8 am. Later, from 9 am, Phala panchamrutha abhishekham and sarvadarshanam.
There would be a massive procession with the devotees, especially donning the roles of Sri Krishna and Gopikas in Karimnagar from 4.30 pm. Later, at around 6.30 pm the participants of the cultural rally would be felicitated. From 9 pm to 12 midnight, there would be bhajans and other religious activities. On this occasion, the devotees would present 108 varieties of prasadams to Lord Sri Krishna.
Trust secretary E Surender Rao, treasurer R Vasantham, vice president M Sugunakar, joint secretary N Ramesh, EC members E Shankaraiah, Y Anjaiah, K Parameshwar, , T Ravinder, R Udaya Laxmi, , K Anjali, E Kausalya and others were also present.
