At 7 PM, Sri Malayappa Swamy, adorned with dazzling ornaments and decorations, blessed His devotees while parading majestically atop the mighty Garuda Vahanam around the four mada streets of the temple.
This Pournami Garuda Seva was organised as a trial run ahead of the prestigious Garuda Seva that is being conducted during the annual Brahmotsavams, which is scheduled on September 28.
On the occasion, TTD Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary issued several instructions to the various department officials directing them to make elaborate arrangements so that the maximum number of devotees can witness the Garuda Seva during Brahmotsavams.
Sri Pedda Jeeyar Swamy, Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy of Tirumala, other dignitaries, temple officials and a large number of devotees were present.
