
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, JULY 21, 2025: Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Vemulawada was packed to the brim with the arrival of hundreds of pilgrims from various parts of the State on the auspicious Monday.
With the ensuing Shravana masam celebrations beginning from July 25 (Friday) to August 23, 2025, the devotees made a beeline to the temple shrine to offer prayers. Devotees take a holy dip in the Dharmagundam and participate in the ‘kode mokku’ (tying of an ox) ritual and offering ‘bonalu’ at Baddi Pochamma temple in the temple town.
On the other hand, the temple authorities announced special rituals during the ensuing Shravana masam celebrations on all Sundays, Mondays, Fridays and other important days. To ensure early darshan for the devotees in the queue lines, the devasthanam authorities had planned early puja rituals such as mangal vayidhyam from 3 am to 3.15 am, Suprabhatham from 3.15 am to 3.45 am, Sarvadarshanam from 3.45 am to 4.50 am, Aalaya shudhi from 4.50 am to 5.10 am and Prahthah kala puja from 5.10 am to 6.30 am.
