KARIMNAGAR, JULY 15, 2025: A record number of 29 students, who underwent 120-hour special training through SAP Code Unnati at JITS, had secured internships and subsequently jobs in various multi-national companies.
SAP Labs India, under its CSR initiative Code Unnati, has established a Centre of Excellence at JITS, in collaboration with the Edunet Foundation and TASK. This Centre focuses on equipping pre-final and final year students with industry 4.0 skills to enhance their employability. Students receive training in advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Computer Vision, Internet of Things (IoT), SAP-BTP, and ABAP.
As a result of this training during the academic year 2024-25, a total of 29 students from final and pre-final years have secured internships (paid, unpaid, and convertible to full-time offers) across various IT companies and start-ups. Additionally, several students have been placed in renowned MNCs, leveraging the skills gained through this programme.
The Centre of Excellence continues to offer training in the latest emerging technologies, with second, third, and fourth-year students currently undergoing the programme. On this occasion, JITS chairman J Sagar Rao congratulated the students for utilizing the Centre for Excellence and securing employment along with the completion of their courses. Secretary J Sumith Sai, Principal T Anil Kumar, Dean PK Vaishali and other HoDs congratulated the students.
