KARIMNAGAR, MARCH 13, 2024: Department of Chemistry, SRR Government Arts & Science College (Autonomous), Karimnagar has organized a lecture on ‘Importance of Chemical Kinetics’ on Wednesday.
Government degree college, Jagtial, Assistant professor T Karunakar was the resource person and explained about various terms (like Rate of reaction, Rate equation, Order, Molecularity etc.) involved in Chemical Kinetics with suitable examples. He has also explained the advantages of chemical kinetics to understand Rate of Reaction, Factors effecting Rate of Reaction. He has emphasized the Role of Chemical kinetics in establishing the Mechanism of the Reaction.
He also described the derivation of Rate constant for various Order of reactions. He has explained Methods to determine Order of Reaction. Importance of Kinectics in Research. Incharge Department of Chemistry M. Sridhar, Faculty K. Bhaskar, G.Srinivas, G.V.R. Saimadhukar, B Mahipal Reddy & I.Gopi participated the seminar and felicitated the Resource Person. Principal K Ramakrishna appreciated Department of Chemistry for organising the lecture for the benefit of students.
