
KARIMNAGAR, JULY 04, 2025: For the first time, the Bhagavathi and Arvintree High Schools in Karimnagar town conducted the student council elections on a digital platform by using a computer instead of a ballot paper on Friday.
The elections were conducted to elect the school Head Boy and Head Girl and Team Leaders. Instead of using ballot papers and EVMs, the school management had used a computer to conduct the elections online. The students were informed to visit the polling centre and press their chosen leader on the computer. The management also empowered the students about the conduct of online voting for the past two days by creating awareness about the process of voting by using a computer.
Schools chairman B Ramana Rao cast his vote and expressed satisfaction over the use of the computer for the conduct of elections instead of ballot papers and EVMs. He said that the elections were conducted in a democratic process. Teachers and Students exercised their franchise.
