RAMAGUNDAM, JUNE 26, 2025: Students of Sacred Heart High School, Godavarikhani coal belt, celebrated the International Day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking on Thursday.
Godavarikhani One Town Inspector Indrasena Reddy, with the coordination of Ramagundam commissionerate of police, participated in the programme along with the NCC cadets, SI Ramesh, NCC First Officer Jyothsna, Principal Sister Arogya Mary and others were also present.
It requires inclusive and accountable institutions of criminal justice, health and social services to work hand in hand in order to provide integrated solutions that are in line with the international drug control conventions, human rights obligations and sustainable development goals. The speakers apprised about the ill-effects of psychoactive substances with the help of posters.
