
KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 20, 2025: Advanced Psychologists Association Services of India (APA India) and Alliance Club of Karimnagar Smart City organised YOGA FOR TRANSFORMATION, pre-yoga day celebrations in connection with the International Yoga Day held in Prakruti IRCA De-Addiction Centre in Ashok Nagar in Karimnagar town on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, APA India State Vice President Nageshwar Galipally said that the word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Yuj’, which means ‘to join’, ‘to connect’ or ‘to unite’. He also said that practising yoga unites the individual consciousness with the universal consciousness. Yoga is not only good for the body but also for the mind and soul. It improves physical and mental health balance. Yoga reduces stress and anxiety, as well as enhances concentration and spirituality. Inner peace can be obtained through yoga meditation.
On this occasion, yoga and pranayama were performed for those undergoing treatment. APA India District Secretary Bollampalli Satish Satya Prakash, Charles, Mahesh, Venugopala Chari, Kalpana Ramadevi Tirumala, Madhukar Varma, Siddu Gaddam Srinivas and others participated in this programme.
