KARIMNAGAR, JUNE 12, 2025: On the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour, the Women and Child Welfare department conducted an awareness rally in Karimnagar town on Thursday.
After flagging off the rally from the district Collectorate premises, District Welfare Officer M Saraswathi said that child labour was a blot on society and it must be removed. “There are legal provisions against the child labour as well as against those engaging children in labour work,” she said.
CDPO K Sabita Kumari, CWC member Kalinga Shekhar, DCPO Parveen, Child helpline coordinator Sampath and others participated.
