KARIMNAGAR, MAY 20, 2025: Collector Pamela Satpathy has stated that the adoption by blood relatives, including relatives and step-children, is a recognised form of adoption in the country under the Juvenile Justice Act.
In a statement here on Tuesday, the Collector said that the Central Adoption Resource Authority (CARA) has specific procedures for such adoptions, including a designated portal for registration and online application. District Welfare Officer Saraswathi, CWC chairperson Dhanalaxmi, DCPO Parveen and others participated in the programme.
