KARIMNAGAR, APRIL 30, 2025: Employees associated with the Insurance Corporation Employees Union (ICEU) Karimnagar chapter have conducted a free distribution of buttermilk on the occasion of the fourth death anniversary of trade union leader Comrade K Venugopal Rao at LIC divisional office in Karimnagar town on Wednesday.
LIC Karimnagar division marketing manager K Soma Shekhara Rao launched the programme. On this occasion, Mr Soma Shekhara said Mr Venugopal Rao was not only a trade union leader but a humanitarian. His death was a serious blow to trade unionism and the employees of LIC, he stated and paid tributes to the services of Venugopal Rao for the welfare of the employees.
LIC Class-I officers Narayana and Raghu, ICEU leaders Suryakala, Basaveshwar, Anupama, Srilatha, Mahesh, Mallesham, D Srinivas, Bathini Srinivas and others participated in the programme. The Union leaders served buttermilk for over 300 pedestrians and passersby at the office.
