HYDERABAD, MARCH 01, 2025: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has suspended its MLC Teenmaar Mallanna, alias Ch Navee,n on the charges of alleged anti-party activities on Saturday (March 01, 2025).
TPCC Disciplinary Committee Chairman G Chinna Reddy issued the orders to this effect on Saturday, stating that Mr Naveen alias Teenmaar Mallanna has been vociferously opposing the BC caste census conducted by the Congress government. Mr Naveen dubbed it as fake and charged that it was a ploy hatched by upper caste leaders to suppress BCs.
The TPCC Disciplinary Committee has served show-cause notice on Naveen on February 5, 2025, on the charges of setting ablaze to the statement of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on the BC census. Teenmaar Mallanna was informed by the TPCC to submit an explanation before February 12, 2025. As there was no response from the MLC and still continuing tirade against the party high command, the TPCC suspended the MLC.
