KARIMNAGAR, FEBRUARY 03, 2025: The Vasanth Panchami was celebrated at Siddartha Group of Schools in Mankammathota, Bhagathnagar, Vidyanagar, Seetharampur and Choppandi in Karimnagar district on Monday.
The festival is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. A ‘homam’ ceremony was performed on the school premises to seek the grace and blessing of the Almighty for the students appearing for the Class X examination and for the entire school.
Siddartha Schools chairman Dasari Sripal Reddy along with family members participate in the special puja rituals and homam. Mr Sripal Reddy also conducted ‘mass Aksharabhyasam’ on the occasion to the tiny tots. The school was colourfully decorated for the festival with flowers and mango leaves.
Students and teachers participated in the special rituals. The school chairman gave his best wishes to students for their exams. ‘Prasad’ was distributed among students and staff members.
