NEW DELHI, JANUARY 23, 2025: Dancing Atoms, which is organising the Animation Filmmakers Competition as one of the Create in India Challenge Season-1 under WAVES 2025, hosted a Storytelling Workshop at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, on January 23, 2025. Renowned writer-director Saraswathi Buyyala led this immersive session, designed to equip aspiring filmmakers with the skills to captivate investors and producers with their stories.

In his 114th ‘Mann Ki Baat’ address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had highlighted the evolving job landscape and the burgeoning opportunities in creative sectors like gaming, animation, and filmmaking. He has urged the creators to participate in the ‘Create in India’ challenges being organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. These challenges aim to foster talent and innovation across various fields, aligning with the broader vision of “Design in India, Design for the World.”

Attendees also explored the techniques such as creating powerful loglines, building layered characters and structuring pitch decks that highlight their projects’ unique vision.
