
KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 14, 2024: The birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, was celebrated with great pomp and show at Achievers Active School, Kothi Rampur, Karimnagar town on Thursday.
Many activities and competitions were conducted to mark this special day. Everyone enthusiastically participated in these thought provoking and entertaining activities. The students participated painting, talks and song competitions.
The students also participated in essay writing competitions on the topic of ‘Impact of Mobile phone and Social media on students and society’ and other topics’. On the other hand, the high school students donned the role of teachers and conducted classes to the satisfaction of their juniors and won appreciations from their teachers.
School director Ch Venkateshwarlu and Principal Ch Pallavi launched the celebrations by offering floral tributes to Jawaharlal Nehru. On this occasion, they enlightened the students about the importance of the day and the achievements of Nehru for the development of the nation after Independence. They said that they would be conducting seven-days competitions on various issues for the students and distribute prizes on November 23.
