
HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 28, 2024: The Tiny Tots of The Play School, Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet, Hyderabad, remembered Sister Nivedita as an Irish Teacher, social activist, educator, and disciple of Swami Vivekananda on the occasion of her 157th birth anniversary on Monday.
On this occasion, the little Niveditans of The Play School, celebrated the 157th birth anniversary of Sister Nivedita, after whom the school is named. The programme began with a skit depicting a few episodes of Sister Nivedita. This was followed by a dance. Through this dance, children expressed their love towards their school and their pride in being Niveditans.
The literary fest’s winners were awarded prizes by the principal, Dr T. Lalitha Kumari and speaking to the children, she motivated them to follow good values and principles towards their bright future.
The Chairman of the school Dr. Sudhakar Rao Polsani and the Correspondent of the school, Rtn. Hari Hara Prasad also extended their wishes and emphasized that this celebration reminded them of the values of courage, righteousness, and resilience in the face of adversity. This festival perfectly embodied our commitment to promoting cultural diversity, nurturing talent, and fostering unity.
