Junior Discoverers had a Speaking Skills Competition titled “My Favourite Toy”. The toy is a cherished possession, perhaps a colorful stuffed animal, a shiny toy car, or a magical doll. Children love showing it off, talking about why it’s special for them. It’s a time of joy and sharing, where everyone learns about each other’s favorite things!” and “What I Want to Be When I Grow Up” for Senior Discoverers. It was a great experience to watch these little ones express themselves through articulation and confidence.
The parents, Dr. Tarangini and Dr Nikitta A Pendharkar, were the judges for Junior Discoverer classes while Mrs. Abinaya Lakshmipathy and Mrs. Sukhbir Kaur, were the judges for Senior Discoverer classes. The judges praised the children’s confidence and expressions.
The active participation of the students made it a difficult task for the judges to announce clear winners. The Pre-Primary Literary Fest was to provide a window to the students’ minds and open the doors of their hearts! It was truly an enriching experience for students. School chairman Dr. P. Sudhakar Rao and Correspondent Rtn. Hari Hara Prasad congratulated the students for their outstanding performances and showcasing their talent.
The principal of the school Dr. T. Lalitha Kumari expressed that the competitions aim to bring out the talents of our students as well as help them gain confidence to present themselves and to strive to greater heights. It was a collaborative effort of teachers, parents, and students, as it reinforced the importance of early literature in a child’s development. We look forward to more such events in the future to continue nurturing a generation of avid readers and learners, she added.
