On an average, each Singareni employee had secured a bonus of Rs 3 lakh during the last one month
Singareni had released Rs 1250 crore for production-linked bonus, festival advances and a Diwali bonus
HYDERABAD, OCTOBER 24, 2024: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Batti Vikramarka announced Diwali PLRS (Production Linked Reward Scheme) Diwali bonus to the Singareni employees on Thursday.
The Diwali bonus would be credited into the accounts of the employees on Friday. The Singareni had released Rs 358 crore as Diwali bonus to the employees and each employee would be getting Rs 93,750 as bonus. Incidentally, this bonus amount is Rs 50 crore additional given during the last Diwali festival. The bonus would be given to all 40,000 and odd employees of Singareni.
On this occasion, the Deputy CM said that the government had released Rs 1250 crore to the employees during the Dasara and Diwali festivities. He said that the government released Rs 796 crore as bonus as profits to the employees during Dasara festivities at the rate of Rs 1.9 lakh to each employee and outsourcing staff was given Rs 5,000 each.
Similarly, the festival advance of Rs 25,000 worth Rs 90 crore were disbursed during Dasara festival and now Diwali bonus of Rs 93,450 to each employee amounting to a total of Rs 358 crore. During the one month period, the employees had secured Rs 3 lakh each and the company had released Rs 1250 crore. Singareni C&MD N Balaram and other officials were also present.
