KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 14, 2024: The Lions Club of Karimnagar Dr Bhaskar Madekar charitable eye hospital , Rekurthi in Karimnagar town, is all set to inaugurate Oculoplasty facilities from October 26, 2024, onwards.
Oculoplastic surgery is cosmetic and reconstructive procedures on the eyelids, orbit (bones and anatomic structures behind the eyeball) and lacrimal (tear drain) system. Surgeries such as brow lift, Ptosis to correct the position of eye lids, fat transfer and small incision face lift will also be offered at the hospital.
Chairman of charitable eye hospital Konda Venu Murthy said that the new oculoplasty department in the hospital would provide treatments for eyelid bags, overhanging lid skin, drooping eye lids, lines of ageing, skin pigmentation and deep sunk eyes. The hospital would diagnose and treat abnormalities of the structures around eye, facial paralysis, nasolabial folds or laugh lines and deep facial lines between brows, he stated.
